Condo Castillo de Arena (Condo Sand Castle) boats breath taking views of the Caribbean Ocean. Located in The Elements Condos, it is just across the street from Coco Beach. Entering the well-manicured complex, take the elevator up one floor to reach this stunning Playa del Carmen condo.

The condo is laid out with an open floor plan, so as you walk through the front door you can see the kitchen, dining room, living room and terrace. It lends the rental a very spacious and inviting feeling. The owner is an artist and has adorned several walls with her hand-made stained glass.

As you walk in the front door, situated to the left is the guest bedroom with 2 twin beds and en-suite full bathroom. Straight ahead from the front door lies the full kitchen and separate laundry room with washer and dryer. After the kitchen lies the dining room with seating for 6 and the living room with a flat screen TV with Satellite.

Spanning two walls are floor to ceiling windows with unobstructed views of Coco Beach. The view is amazing and can be seen from the front door all the way to the terrace, which sits just off the living room. Few Playa del Carmen condo rentals have such a breathtaking view. There is literally nothing but a small beach access road between you and the beach.

Just off the living room through large sliding glass doors sits the ocean view terrace complete with lounge chairs and unobstructed views of the pool and ocean.

To the left of the dining room sits a separate hallway leading to the master bedroom with king bed, en suite bathroom and access to the same ocean view terrace.

The Elements boasts the largest infinity pool in Playa del Carmen, which is perfect for lap swimming, and is adorned with small shimmering glass balls along the pool floor. Lush vegetation and comfortable lounge chairs align the long pool which is perfect for families, or anyone looking to relax and have a little fun. Just past the pool and across the beach access road is the private Elements beach club, reserved for residents and guests of the Elements. There are lounge chairs at the club as well as beach chairs in the unit if you with to bring your own. Those looking for shade can plop next to one of the many palm trees dotting the club. Just next door to the Elements beach club is a public beach club, the Canibal Royal, with food and drink service, hammocks and lounge chairs. As far as you can walk, either north or south, the beach, with its cool white sand, stretches in front of you and the aqua water is safe, warm and inviting for swimming all year round.

The Elements also has a business center with computer terminals, wireless internet throughout the complex, a gym, rooftop terrace with Jacuzzi and massage tables. The Elements is ideally located right next to the activity in Playa but not right in the middle of it making it a tranquil spot to stay. You don’t need a car as it is a short walk to everywhere.

Castillo de Arena also offers all the concierge services provided by their property manager, North American Standards. Take advantage of baby sitting, a personal chef, travel and transportation arrangements, grocery shopping, room service, laundry services, beauty at home, wedding planning, tour bookings, recommendations for restaurants, activities and nightlife, and more. Property Rating
We loved the location!! just north of all the hustle of PDC and 5th Ave, but close enough to walk to wonderful restaurants and shops. We particularly loved the restaurant (Canabal) next to the condos for lunch because we could walk there from the beach club. The unit we stayed in has an awesome view of the beach and beautiful light all day. Overall we liked it (beds were very comfortable), although the other furnishings were not as comfortable and there were not enough shelving/furnitures spaces to put our own items (the few furniture surfaces ,other than the dining table, were filled with the owner's decorative items).
