BPM Music Festival
Beginning of January, 2013 The BPM Festival is an annual world-class electronic music festival which takes place in the beginning of January in idyllic Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. Originally designed as an elite dance music industry networking event, the festival has morphed into an international mélange of electronic music lovers, DJs, producers, revelers and partygoers. The BPM Festival features world class international DJs and producers, which in the past has included Dubfire, Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Marco Carola, Guy Gerber, Lee Burridge, M.A.N.D.Y., Sander Kleinenberg, Steve Angello, Steve Lawler, Victor Calderone, and many more. Since its inception in 2008, parties are hosted both day and night at multiple venues around the beautiful resort town, tucked into the coastline of the Mayan peninsula, warm turquoise Caribbean waters, white sand beaches, mysterious jungles and ancient ruins. Riviera Maya Jazz Festival
November 22-24, 2012 The annual Riviera Maya Jazz Festival has captured the minds and imagination of jazz lovers from all over the world, presenting such greats as Brazilian Grammy award-winning composer Ivan Lins and the legendary multiple Grammy winners, Kool & the Gang. Beach Soccer World Cup
July or August 2013 Annual tournament where local teams of different nationalities duke it out in a beach soccer tournament. Every year this event sees around 20 teams participating. So bring on your cheering kit and watch your team fight it out for the cup. |

Travesia Sagrada Maya
Mid May 2013 Annual event at XCaret which recreates one of the most ancient traditions of the Mayan culture; the yearly pilgrimage of the Maya, who braved the ocean on their canoes and crossed to the island of Cozumel to worship the goddess Ixchel.
